LEAF & YARD WASTE COLLECTION/DISPOSAL. OUR FILE NO. P-04-16
The Council of the Corporation of the City of Belleville, at its regular meeting
held on Tuesday March 29, 2016, passed the following resolution:
“THAT the Proposal submission from Waste Management of Canada Corporation be accepted for Contract No. EOS-2016-03 Re Leaf and Yard Waste Collection and Disposal in the amount of $48.00/tonne for
collection of materials and supply of bins, $105.00/tonne for Ward 1 curbside
collection, and $115.00/tonne for Ward 2 curbside collection in 2016;
$49.00/tonne for collection of materials and supply of bins, $107.00/tonne for
Ward 1 curbside collection, and $117.00/tonne for Ward 2 curbside collection in
2017 and $50.00/tonne for collection of materials and supply of bins,
$109.00/tonne for Ward 1 curbside collection, and $119.00/tonne for Ward 2
curbside collection in 2018, this being the lowest cost proposal received, and
that the Mayor and the City Clerk be authorized to sign the Acceptance
Agreement on behalf of The Corporation of the City of Belleville and that the
City Clerk be authorized to affix the Corporate Seal”
