Awarded Summary
The Council of the Corporation of the City of Belleville, at its regular meeting held on Tuesday,
March 29, 2016, passed the following resolution:
“THAT the items regarding the sidewalk replacement work at 224 Front Street, being items G-1
through to G-7 of Contract ENG2016-07, be deleted from Contract ENG2016-07 City
Centre Revitalization and Redevelopment Project Construction Contract Phase 2;
and further
THAT the project budget for the City Centre Revitalization and Redevelopment Project be amended to
include $1,265,000.00 for additional funding through long term debt; and further,
THAT the tender submission from Len Corcoran Excavating Limited be accepted for CONTRACT ENG2016-07 City Centre Revitalization and Redevelopment Project Construction Contract Phase 2 in the
amended amount of $8,056,254.95 plus $1,047,313.14 HST for the total amount of
$9,103,568.09 this being the lowest cost tender received; and the Mayor and the
City Clerk be authorized to sign the Acceptance Agreement on behalf of The Corporation
of the City of Belleville and that the City Clerk be authorized to affix the Corporate
Seal”
