Rehabilitation of the Latta Bridge located over the Moira River as detailed. The City is tendering the project with two (2) options, being a road closure and a staged construction. The Contractor is required to bid both options. The work to be completed will include, but is not limited to, scarify and overlay of the deck and approach slabs, modification of existing deck drains, removal and replacement of existing expansion joints including reconstruction of end sections of deck, curbs, sidewalk and upper sections of ballast walls, partial depth concrete removals and repairs on sidewalks, curbs, abutment walls, wingwalls, retaining walls, pier shafts, diaphragms, shear keys and pre-stressed girders, jacking of superstructure, removal and replacement of bearings at abutments and east pier, waterproofing and paving over bridge deck, removal and reinstatement of asphalt on approach slabs and approaches, removal and reconstruction of curb and gutter and sidewalks on approaches, removal and replacement of steel beam guiderail on approaches including installation of new end treatments, reinstate pavement markings.
